Top Key Players To Participate In Power And Desalination Summit

​According to Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa), electricity demand will increase 10% annually over the next five years in Qatar. This massive demand for power has recently lead Kahramaa to pre-qualify bidders for the tender to build Qatar's next independent water and power project, which is scheduled to deliver its first power output in late 2016. Qatar is a water-scarce country, where the government has been spending billions of riyals to provide clean drinking water and uninterrupted supply of electricity to its people.

Qatar has recognised the fact that for the country’s sustainable development, water and power conservation must be achieved.

In light of these recent developments, Fleming.'s 3rd Edition of it's Power & Desalination Summit, an event that serves as a common ground for GCC and global utility conglomerates to discuss and debate the regional challenges in a competitive landscape, will be hosted in Doha, Qatar.
