Jean-Michel Cardot is a professor and head of the Department of Biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology from the Clermont Auvergne University, France. He was active in the pharmaceutical industry for 15 years before he entered in University in 2012. From 1987 to 1999 J-M. Cardot worked at Ciba- Geigy and then Novartis in development departments based in Basel and Paris. In 1999 he created a company dedicated to the production of technical and clinical batches of high potent activity drugs.
Jean-Michel Cardot is a pharmacist (D Pharm), he got Masters in Biopharmaceutical, Statistical sciences and Pharmacokinetics and has a PhD. in pharmaceutical sciences at Clermont Auvergne.
His research fields are Biopharmaceutical development of drugs, in vitro dissolution and in vivo bioequivalence and in vitro-in vivo correlation. He is an author of many research papers on IVIVC, Bioequivalence, and dissolution.
