Fleming. : The need innovation employee engagement strategies for the millennial workforce – your opinion.
Hind Al Mualla:
It is not just the millennials, what we are witnessing today is the diverse workforce, and not only age wise but other factors as well. Retirement age is increasing so it is important to innovate to allow all of the workforce to thrive and what I mean by innovation is collaborating to address that and really listening to what the team is saying and not by words only.

Fleming. : Do you think there is a growing need for non-conventional HR strategies and reward practices? If so, Why?
Hind Al Mualla:
Absolutely, I’m really not an HR person but I believe most of the practices were created in a different era to address “problems” and evolved very slowly not taking into consideration the information and communication revolution and also not taking into consideration that strategies need to get out the best of people.

Fleming. : According to you, what would be one's key takeaways from this conference?
Hind Al Mualla:
You don’t have to conform to what others are doing, every organization is unique and it really need to listen to its purpose and build everything based on that.

Fleming. : In your opinion, why do you think such a conference is important these days?
Hind Al Mualla:
Every opportunity for people working on an area to connect and share experiences is important, agree and disagree and be open to other practices. This how we learn and evolve.
