  • Corporate Occupational Health & Safety Deputy Director
  • Veolia, France

I've been working in the Occupational Health & Safety domain for 29 years; first as safety manager within a nuclear company in France; in charge of fire and chemical subjects. Then in a multinational purchase company as safety engenieer in charge of the deployement of safety strategies within production sites and storage facilities.

As I joined Veolia in 2001, I was first the regional safety director for waste activities and then safety director for water activities.

Since the 1st of january 2014, I've been working for Veolia corporate OH&S department as Deputy director. I am in charge of mapping the high risks within all the activities in order to highlight the highest risks for which I managed the implementation and the deployment of the high risk management standards (10) in connection with the Company's experts network (Center of Excellence).

Moreover, I realized Occupational Health and safety management safety culture audits within Argentina - Brazil - Chile - Colombia - Ecuador - Mexico - Portugal - Spain - France and Germany. Then I led Audit of the HSE requirements of EPC supply providers (Engineering- Procurement and Construction) in Spain as part of a project to build a energy production plant on a petrochemical area in Finland.

Finally, I am charge of the Occupational Health and Safety zones coordination: North America - Northern Europe - Energy France - VIGS - SEDE Environment... (previously Latin America - Portugal - Spain - United Kingdom/ Ireland - Waste France). In order to acheive that, I use to work with the country directors and all their teams and of course, with the OH&S networks for which I provide advises and expertises.
