This year's event has been a scintillating success, thanks to the outstanding presentations of over 20 Innovation Leaders from companies of diverse sizes and industries, including representatives of top universities such as Harvard and Yale. In our quest for continuous yearly improvement, we also implemented a number of extra features, such as a field trip to the Harvard i-Lab incubator guided by its managing director, and our Open Innovation Awards (won by the GreenTouch consortium). The sessions dedicated to collaborations between start-ups, universities and corporations was very well received, as were the hybrid and non-traditional partnerships discussed, which will be the lion's share of OI partnerships of the next few years. For next year's event, we will set the bar even higher.
