MUNICH, May 9, 2016 – OVER the past five years, the cosmetic industry in the EU and worldwide has met with several legislative changes and compliance requirements.

To help you find a comfortable routine that will minimize costs while staying effective and compliant with all regulations within the new legislative package, Fleming. has decided to organize the upcoming conference on Regulations & Safety in Cosmetics .

On 21 – 22 September 2016, experts in cosmetics from companies such as Oriflame, Puressentiel, BASF SE, Richards & Appleby and Cosmetics Europe will gather in Munich to discuss an overview of the regulation and its remaining challenges; packaging and labeling regulation challenges in the EU and beyond; and how to meet compliance on an international level.

Participants will gain insights into the REACH regulation and cosmetic regulation and learn what to expect from REACH in 2018 and what are the main practical approaches to handle changes. During the on-stage interview, they will have the opportunity to ask an ECHA representative questions concerning REACH and hear about ECHA's preparation for the 2018 deadline.

On the second conference day, attendees will explore alternative testing methods in order to go completely cruelty free. They will also witness a courtroom discussion between a Cruelty Free International representative and an industry representative on the topic of Animal Testing – Where are we heading?
