Glenn Lottering is Senior Director for Oracle heading up the Global Business Team for Insurance analytics. In addition to this daily global responsibility for all Insurance analytics products for Oracle, with responsibility for product strategy and sales consulting of Oracle Insurance’s globally. He specializes in Solvency II and is leading the global initiative for Oracle. In addition he is one of Oracle’s lead strategist for Insurance and provides advisory into for top tier accounts. Lottering speaks regularly on the EMEA conference circuit, addressing topics ranging from Solvency II to claims management. In the past year, Lottering has chaired international conferences on Distribution Management, Solvency II and Bancassurance, as well as the Cost reduction Stream of Marketforce’s Future of General Assurance last November, and the Future of Life Assurance. Lottering has spent the last 15 years working on projects in the insurance industry including transformational projects. He has been responsible for the business plan creation and sign-off with the EMEA Financial Services Board of Oracle Corporation for the inclusion of the Insurance Global Business Unit. He is leading the introduction of the Insurance plan for EMEA during 2009 and 2010. Lottering joined Oracle South Africa in 1999 to set up the CRM business unit. Prior to working at Oracle, Lottering gained a wealth of experience through his 6 years in financial services in Europe, Middle East, Asia and North America, 11 years in South Africa financial services and 12-year involvement the South African IT industry. The last 13 years has had specific focus on financial services across insurance, banking and capital markets. He worked for companies such as Dimension Data, where he was responsible for the development of the Information Management business unit and had involvement in the CRM and E-Business models strategy.
