Thomas graduated from Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2004. Since then, he has acquired more than 11 years of experience in engineering, projects and operations in the potash industry. Before joining K+S Potash Canada, he worked for its parent company, K+S Group, in Germany at several mines and headquarter locations. Thomas moved to Canada in 2013 to support the Legacy Project team as an area manager, and in July 2015, he assumed the role of Vice President of Engineering. Thomas likes to spend his time in the oudoors, enjoying Canadian nature.
