Ton Peijs is a Professor of Materials at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) and a vistiting professor at Eindhoven University of Technology (The Netherlands). TP's research interests are in all aspects of processing and structure-property relationships of polymer composites. His group has made notable contributions to areas such as micromechanics, composite interfaces, hybrids, thermoplastic composites and nanocomposites. He has pioneered the development of eco-composites; this includes work on bio-based composites and the development of fully recyclable all-polymer composites. In recent years, the group's work has focused on the utilization of nano-scale architectures in polymer composites, the creation of high-performance fibres, intelligent nanocomposite fibres and polymer films for sensors applications and smart textiles, and the development of novel materials based on renewable resources. Ton Peijs has been active in polymer composites for over 20 years and is the author or co-author of over 250 papers in scientific journals and conference proceedings. He was the co-organiser and co-chairman of the 10th European Conference on Composite Materials (ECCM-10) and is the founder of the biannual International Conference Series on Eco-Composites (ECOCOMP). He is a member of the editorial board of 10 scientific journals in the field of materials, polymers and composites and was the conference chair for the 2008 Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Composites. TP is director of research for the School of Engineering and Material Science (SEMS), head of the Centre for Materials Research (CMR) at QMUL and a director of Nanoforce Technology Ltd a spin-out company, wholly-owned by QMUL devoted to nanocomposites research for exploitation by industry.

Henny Herps is a professional chemical engineer, specialized in polymers and composites, with a profound knowledge of polymer technology and polymer applications. He has graduated as MSc at the Eindhoven University of Technology and in a few month he will complete his PhD study at the same institute. The subject of the thesis is ‘Sustainability of Polyamide-6 Production Routes, Comparison of the Environmental Load of Different Manufacturing Technologies’.
Recently, after 40 years of employment at a well-known Dutch chemical company, he started as independent consultant. 
He has profound knowledge of polymer technology and polymer applications, especially in polyamides. He is well experienced in project management for innovation and research projects regarding polymer development 
and validation. He can give local technical support for your customers. He can support with Life Cycle Analysis evaluation, Eco footprint evaluation, product complaint analysis and assistance in REACH registration and legislation.
