Dr. Mona Sabuco is an honored adjunct professor at both Golden Gate University (GGU) and Dominican University of California and an adjunct professor at University of San Francisco (USF) and Sonoma State University (SSU), all in their schools of business at various levels including undergraduate, MBA, Executive MBA and also Wine MBA. Her area of focus is broad - lecturing in many business areas including Global Management, Cross-culture Management, Asian Economics, Leadership, Organization Capabilities, Operations, Enterprise Performance Management, Business Strategy, and Technology Strategy.
Dr. Sabuco served with Chevron Corporation for over 30 years and in her last position, managed Operational Excellence and Business Planning for the global Corporate Human Resources, as well as managing the Project Management Office (PMO) for the HR Function – worldwide. In addition, she held positions such as Compliance Officer and Project Manager for a Corporate-wide project on Privacy of Personal Information and holds a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma (the first in the HR function). She was certified in Project Management and was originally one of 50 who could train others on Operational Excellence within Chevron world-wide.
Dr. Sabuco earned her Doctorate Degree (DBA in International Business) and her MBA from Golden Gate University. Her dissertation was centered on “decision-making and assessing technology”. She lives in Marin and is a native San Franciscan.
