David is a Consultant Neurosurgeon in Prince of Wales Hospital and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor of Department of Surgery of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is in charge of Neurosurgical spine, rehabilitation and revascularization services in his unit. He is also the Chairman of Hong Kong Neurosurgical Spine Interest Group, Founding Chairman of Hong Kong Pain Foundation and Expert Advisory Panel of Spine Committee in World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies. He is also the Deputy Service Director (Quality and Safety) and Chairman of Research Subcommittee under the Quality and Safety Committee in New Territories East Cluster of Hong Kong Hospital Authority. He is leading a lot of Quality Improvement Programs including Medication Safety Students Ambassador Program, Hospital Information to Patients, Patient Journey Reengineering, Early Detection of Deteriorating Patients and Clinical Handover. He is also heavily involved in Simulation Training Programs for students and professionals.
