Djoko Susanto earned his bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Institute Technology of Surabaya – Indonesia in 1984, master degree in Management from Gajah Mada University of Yogyakarta – Indonesia in 1997. He was a guest lecturer in University of Indonesia for some years in between the decade of 1996 up to mid 2005. Starting to work in Pertamina in the late 1985, he gained solid experience and strong background in oil&gas operations and its HSE matters by being assigned in many task forces and special projects. Appointed as VP HSSE PT Pertamina EP in 2010 – Pertamina’s biggest subsidiary both in operations and profit generator – currently he is being challenged with the highest position of Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) in Pertamina Corporate which has more than 50 subsidiaries and joint ventures with hundreds of unit operations spread wide in upstream, midstream, downstream and non core energy businesses.
