Mr.Jirapong Dharaphop is a Vice President, Risk Management at PTTEP (PTT Exploration and Production Plc., A Company of PTT Group), a national petroleum exploration and production company, based in Bangkok, Thailand. For over 20 years at PTTEP, Jirapong has gained his experience and expertise in drilling engineering and project management both locally and internationally. Jirapong has held many field positions in addition to management and technical positions including Head of Drilling Engineering, Well Engineering Manager, General Manager of Hoang Long Joint Operating Company, Special Project Manager of Northern Arthit Development Project, Senior Manager of Safety, Security, Health and Environment reported directly to the President, and VP International Drilling. Currently he is charged of Enterprise Risk management at PTTEP. Jirapong graduated in petroleum engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, and received his MS in the same field from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, USA. He is a SPE member and has published several SPE papers.
