Kim Slade is the Director Emerging Markets and Commercialization at Public Services Health and Safety Association. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications and also has an Adult Education Certificate from OISE University of Toronto. Kim is also part of the Canadian Standards Association Technical Committee on Occupational Health and Safety Training and currently sits on the technical committee for the development of a Paramedic Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace. Kim has  been in the field of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training and education for the past 15 years. This has included securing funding through research grant opportunities and special project funds to develop a variety of products and solutions for the health and safety market including pictograms  and low literacy training for restaurant, retail, industrial and greenhouse sectors, various health and safety training programs and providing leadership as a principal knowledge and co-investigator for the development of a game based application to help leaders improve OHS decision making and skills development.  Kim is currently responsible for PSHSA’s market intelligence, emerging markets and Occupational Health and Safety Research, including fatigue.
