Lars Christophers started his career with Hewlett Packard in 1996. Over the last 20 years he has gained extensive experience in the Shared Services and Business Process Outsourcing Industry. In 2006, he ran Delivery Operations in Costa Rica and in 2007 in Poland for multiple trade clients of HP. In that time he was a winner of HP MVP-award for “BPO operations turn-around”. Between 2008 and 2011 he headed a global program & project management team further building up the shared services backbone of HP in moving into the 14 global HP GBS delivery centers. 2011 – 2013 he managed business transformation programs including implementation of efficiencies and effectiveness process improvements. Since February 2014 he has been involved in setting up and developing global services delivery centers at Lufthansa Global Business Services and, as a double role, in leading Global Service Delivery Center in Krakow. In 2015 Lufthansa Global Business Services was rewarded with the SSON Awards: “Excellence in Culture Creation” for successful change drive in LGBS in Krakow and “Excellence in Improvement” for embedding Continuous Improvement culture into the DNA of LGBS global organization. Lars Christophers holds an MBA of the University of Tubingen with majors in Marketing, Operations Research and Statistics.
