Martin Kojinkov is IBD patient and advocate of patient rights. He is the founder and chairman of the Bulgarian Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis Association and chairman of the Board of the European Federation of Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis Associations (EFCCA). Ever since he has been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in 2010, he has been involved in numerous voluntary activities and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of people living with IBD. In 2012 he founded the Bulgarian Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis Association, in 2014 he was elected member of the Board and treasurer of EFCCA and in 2016 he was elected chairman. He holds bachelor degrees in International relations and Finance and master’s degree in Financial management. He has diverse professional background with focus on finance. As of the beginning of 2015 he lives and works in the Netherlands.
