Mohamed Anwar Maree is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Banque Misr. He is Responsible for providing global information security governance, policy development, security metrics, and overall technology risk management for Egypt, and Regional branches in Lebanon, and united Arab of emirates. Overseeing policies that protect and secure all of information and electron assets of the Bank, as well as IT compliance and risk and control assessment of the information assets across the wide array of business units to recommend controls in light of value vs. threat vs. vulnerability vs. cost. As part of the responsibility he managed the whole PCI-DSS compliance project from technology and procedural perspective to a successful implementation as first Bank in Egypt. Mohamed Anwar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from faculty of engineering at AIN Shames University.
