Rasha Abu AlSaud is the Chief Information Security Officer of a leading Saudi Arabian bank, her expertise spans various aspects of Information Security, Business Continuity and technology Risks. In her role, Rasha and her team established a Cyber intelligence center and successfully implemented a number of security related technologies to improve the monitoring capabilities within a short period of time. The projects she implemented covered: Identity governance, network protection, SIEM, eGRC, Endpoint monitoring, DLP, Secure build, Threats Detection, Vulnerability Infrastructure in addition to a comprehensive Security controls framework. Prior to her assignment as the bank’s CISO, Rasha established the IT Risk department at the bank where she developed the IT Risk framework and managed a Risk remediation program to monitor the remediation of the identified high risks in the IT division. Rasha holds a BSc degree in Computer Science from King Abdullah University and several industry certifications. She is a frequent speaker in local and international conferences sharing her expertise in IT Risk, Governance, Security and Threats Monitoring.
