Ronald van der Molen, is an experienced L & D leader who guides organizations to structure and/ or professionalize the L & D department at international level. He is a specialist in setting up and professionalize the Corporate university concept within organisations. Ronald is currently working with Lely, global market leader in milking robots, where he is responsible for putting the Lely Academy in place at global level. As well Ronald is board member of the Dutch Foundation of Corporate Universities (NSCU). In the past he worked for Canon Europe Ltd, as the Academy director for EMEA, where he has re-organized and professionalized the Learning & Development concept within Canon, integrating all BU’s and country approaches into one unified concept across Canon EMEA. Ronald led the L & D transformation within Canon into a new hybrid concept balancing centralization versus decentralization. In the past Ronald also worked as interim manager for organizations to restructure or set up the corporate university concept, for example within Bavaria as interim L & D head, where he led the restructuring of the learning department and set up of the Bavaria learning structure. Before Canon he worked for Coca-Cola Enterprises as Learning & Development manager.
