• Was born in Lisboa, Portugal, in 1965 • He started his career as a technician financial audit at Ernst & Young in 1990; • In the same year, began professional career in insurance business working on Commercial Department – life and non-life products – dealing with the Company’s network of tied agent and brokers; • Participated on the first assurfinance initiatives, which launched the life products of the on the banks branches of the largest portuguese financial group – Caixa Geral de Depósitos • In 1995 has moved to the Marketing Department, where he participated in developing several projects for boosting the commercial networks and implementing the same strand of a client; moved recently to products management. • In 2002 participated as a speaker in London “Bancassurance Strategies Seminar”, sponsored by LIMRA, with the theme “The Importance of bancassurance business and cross selling to the Fidelity Insurers and CGD Group in the World”; in 2012 in Paris on EFMA Conference, speaking about “Customer Centric View”; and in 2014 in Amsterdam on EFMA Distribution Summit. • Under the CGD group, joined the work team formed to bid for the privatization of the financial system in Cape Verde, with its responsibility under the whole slope of the insurance business to the competition; • As part of the BPI Group (banking), joined several advisory missions to Angola, with the task of restructuring the financial area of the ENSA-National Insurance Company of Angola; • Currently performs duties on Marketing Department of Fidelidade Seguros (Fosun Shareholder), taking in charge the area of products; before that was charged of development commercial channels and developed projects in scope of Customer Intelligence and analytics. • Completed a degree in Economics in 1990 (Universidade Nova de Lisboa), following the post-graduate in management of financial institutions (IESF) and actuarial (ISEGI); • He was professor of Macroeconomics (1991-1992); Participate on master program “Marketing Management and Innovation in Insurance” (2013-2014) on IPAM-Marketing School.
