Bassam A. Al-Bokhari holds the position of Petro Rabigh Vice President, Industrial Relations, which comprises Human Resources; Corporate Affairs; Operational Excellence; Community & Business Support Services, Materials Procurement; and Investor Relations which includes corporate governance and Capital Market Authority matters. In addition, he chairs Petro Rabigh Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability Committee and Rabigh CSR Council (consists of more 8 companies). As Vice President, Industrial Relations, he acts as Secretary of the Nomination, Remuneration and Compensation Committee formed by Petro Rabigh Board of Directors. Bassam is also a Board Member of the Saudi Petroleum Services Polytechnic (SPSP) and the Higher Institute for Water and Power Technologies (HIWPT). Bassam joined Saudi Aramco’s Ras Tanura (RT) Refinery in 1989 as a System Engineer and held a number of positions including Planning Division Head at RT Refinery; Admin Area Training Division Head; Assistant to Refining Vice President; and Refining HR Consultant. In November 2007, he joined the Ras Tanura Integrated Project (RTIP-Manufacturing) in Houston, as Organization & Strategy Manager to work on developing the feasibility study, Human Resources and Organization strategy, and Manufacturing Work Process development for the Sadara Chemical Company (a Saudi Aramco and Dow Chemical Co. Joined Venture) . Bassam holds a Bachelor Degree in Information Systems and a Master Degree in Business Administration. He is certified by the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) to enhance organization performance. He completed the Saudi Aramco Management Development Program in Washington, D.C.
