Beth Tormey leads the Global Sales organization for Lonza’s Consumer Care business, responsible for the regional sales and marketing teams across the globe, as well as a team of Global Key Account Managers. In addition, Beth is a member of Lonza’s Sales Excellence Council, which brings together the sales leadership across Lonza’s 6 business units to share best practices, harmonise and improve sales process efficiency, and drive customer and market focus through the commercial teams. Beth has over 25 years speciality chemicals industry experience in various Technical, Sales, Marketing and GM roles. Before joining Lonza in 2010, Beth spent 5 years at Honeywell International and 15 years at various ICI companies including National Starch and Uniqema. Throughout these years Beth has had the opportunity to work on developing Key Account Management processes and teams, establishing and driving new business development models, leading outstanding sales, marketing and operations and supply chain teams, and participating in a range of acquisitions and integrations for various businesses. Beth has a BS in Chemical Engineering and an MBA in Finance, both from Rutgers University in the US. She currently resides in Basel, Switzerland with her husband and 2 daughters.
