David Amsler is a leading cyber security strategist and industry thought leader.In 2000, Mr. Amsler founded Foreground Security, a dedicated cyber security consulting company that offers cutting edge cyber security consulting and an advanced set of cyber hunting and analytics capabilities. For the past 15 years, Mr. Amsler served as the leader of Foreground Security’s highly credentialed and experienced engineer teams. He developed the concept behind ATIP for automated threat hunting and deep analytics within customer environments. In 2015, after receiving significant interest from the entire industry Mr. Amsler agreed to a purchase of Foreground with its next generation MSSP offering Foreground Security to Raytheon Company, a Fortune 100 company. He continues as the President of Raytheon Foreground Security working as a leader within Raytheon. Mr. Amsler has taught more than 350 information security courses to top government organizations, including the National Security Agency, Department of Defense, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Defense Information Systems Agency, Internal Revenue Service, and National Aeronautics and Space Administration. In addition, he has developed policies and procedures that are now documented and recognized as key operational standards for numerous government agencies. Mr. Amsler has earned numerous certifications and recognitions in the IT space, including MCP, MCSE, MCT, CISSP, CISM, Security+, CCSE, CCSA, CCNA, CCSP, CEH, CHFI and NSA IAM/IEM. He has appeared frequently in many influential publications, such as the Washington Post, InfoWorld, Government Computer News, SC Magazine, Federal Computer News, Dark Reading, IT World, Redmond Magazine, TechNewsWorld, Security Week, Threat Post, Computerworld, and Fed Tech Bisnow.
