Matthias Hölzer-Klüpfel graduated with a diploma in physics at the University of Würzburg. After his studies, he worked for an American Linux distributor. In 2002, Matthias Hölzer-Klüpfel joined the Method Park Software AG as developer, consultant and project manager. He carried out several projects in the medical device domain, both in large corporations and medium enterprises. With the experience of these projects, he took over the responsibility for the medical device topic as a Principal Consultant. In addition to his work, he acquired a master degree in “IT in Healthcare”. Matthias Hölzer-Klüpfel is heading the association “International Certified Professional for Medical Software Board e.V.” which provides the foundation for a certified education program for medical device software development. Since 2011, Matthias Hölzer-Klüpfel is working as an independent consultant concerned with development processes for medical devices.
