Dlair is professionally and academically qualified Chartered Transport Planner and he specialist in Strategic Transportation Planning, Surface Transport Master Plan; Integrated Transportation Planning and Policy Development; Wlkaing & Cycling Master Plan; Public Transit Master Plan, Analysis of Transport Performance KPI based on International Best Practice; Feasibility Studies of a range of strategic and local projects; Civil Engineering and Value Engineering. Dlair played this role as client with government offices and Private Consultant companies. Dlair lived and worked in the United Kingdom (from 1986 to 2007) and in the (UAE from 2007 up to date) with a Ph D degree from Manchester University – UK. Dlair is currently working with Al Ain City Municipality (AACM) as Transportation Planning Adviser at the Municipality Assets and Internal Road Sector – Al Ain City Municipality (AACM) and he is involved in Developing Al Ain Vesion 2030 and Al Ain Surface Transport Master Plan. Dlair works independently and communicates with major stakeholders such as the Department of Transport (DoT), the Urban Planning Council (UPC), Abu Dhabi Police (ADP), Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), Environmental Agency, Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH), Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), Etihad Rail, Regional Rail and also private developers such as Al Dar, Soruh, Tamouh and Al Qudra to obtain their requirements and incorporate them in the project concept design stage. Dlair has also been involved in the enhancing in-house skills and expertise by training of joiner Emirati Engineers and establishing of New Road Safety Unit & GIS Unit in AACM. Dlair represents AACM on various Technical Workshop, as a speaker and panelist such as Gulf Traffic in Dubai and ITS in Abu Dhabi 2015
