Dr Hani Fadel obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2003 from the College of Dentistry at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. At the University of Gothenburg in Sweden in 2010, he completed his specialist training in Periodontology, recognized by the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare and the European Federation of Periodontology. In 2012, Dr. Fadel obtained his Ph.D degree “On the Associations between, Dental Caries, Periodontal Disease and Different Systemic Diseases” from the same university. In 2014, Dr. Fadel obtained his Master in Medical Education degree from King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Fadel is currently Assistant Professor of Periodontology at the Taibah University Dental College & Hospital, Madinah, Saudi Arabia, where he also serves as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs. He also holds the position of Vice Dean for Academic Programs & Training at the University Deanship of Development, and is Director of the Teaching & Learning Center at the university. Dr Fadel has published a number of articles in well-known, peer-reviewed journals, and he currently acts as an External Peer-Reviewer for a wide range of dental and nondental international journals.
