Head of Mechanical Unit in the Development and Maintainance Department of UKM. Graduated in Mechanical Eng. Diploma, University of Technology Malaysia (1978), BSc(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, University of Stratchlyde Scotland (1983). Started working as a Project and Maintenance Engineer with the Kuala Lumpur City Hall, involved in the design and implementation of various engineering projects, especially mechanical system installations in the building industry. Joined UKM in 1994 as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and was assigned to monitor the construction of the 1,000 bedded University Kebangsaan Malaysia Teaching Hospital (HUKM) in Bandar Tun Razak. Took charge in organizing a technical personnel team to carryout testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the hospital mechanical facilities . Gained relevant experience in the field of Thermal Storage Air-conditioning System through the implementation of the 16,000RTh Ice Storage UKM Bangi Loop 1 DCS project in 2001 and the 12,000RTh Ice Storage System for HUKM in 2007. Project Manager for the construction of a 15,000RTh Chilled Water Storage System for UKM Bangi Loop 2 Plant, and latest the 7,000RTh Ice Storage System for the newly completed 17 stories and 9 stories buildings for Medical Faculty pre-clinical students and UKM Molecular Biology Institute (UMBI) respectively. Member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia and a registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
