Jade Shields is the Global Ethics and Privacy Officer at Ferring Pharmaceuticals operating in 65 countries. He is located in St. Prex, Switzerland. He was appointed and transferred from Ferring Pharmaceuticals Inc in New Jersey in June 2016 to take over the responsibility of the continues development of the Ferring Group Ethics awareness programme, management of the company’s whistle blowing system and building the company wide Privacy adherence program. Jade reports directly to the Ferring Board of Directors under the Ethics & Compliance Committee. Jade hold a BA in Marketing and Communication and numerous diplomas in Leadership & Management and he is also certified in Health Care Compliance from Seton Hall Law School and INSEAD Business School. He has more than 15 years’ experience from management- and leadership positions, hereof more than 10 years in senior level positions, including Executive Committee membership. Jade was headhunted to Ferring in 2010 from Johnson & Johnson to a high-profile position overseeing the building and development of the overall Ferring US Compliance & Ethics awareness and training program. Responsible for the design, development and implementation of PDI’s new enterprise wide Compliance program and hotline whistleblowing scheme with all US aspects, adapting to OIG’s Seven Elements of an effective Compliance Program.
