Jamsheed Hamza is heading the Retail Banking Division of Maisarah Islamic Banking Services. Prior to this he was the General Manager of Blue Ocean Academy based in Dubai. He brings to the role a wealth of experience in mentoring, customer service, process reengineering and corporate relations, having worked for some of the leading organizations in the Middle East. Jamsheed has spent several years as well with the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), most recently holding the post of Head of Corporate Banking, Islamic Banking Division. During his tenure with NBAD, Hamza was entrusted with improving customer service quality and turn around time, while also creating an ideal working environment for staff. During his career he has gained valuable experience in spearheading organizational change, problem solving and crisis management, and identifying and understanding key business drivers. He also was responsible for recruitment and mentoring of the team. Hamza, a CIFE certificate holder from CIFE, holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), with dual specialization in Human Resources & Marketing, from the Mahatma Gandhi University, India. Always keen to pass on his experience, Jamsheed regularly addresses seminars and conference for organisations across the world. This has included addressing the University of Phoenix, Teens Summits, Emirates Environmental Group, Dubai and the International Islamic Banking Seminars. He has also worked as trainer and consultant for such international names as Worldwide Fund for Nature, Sony Middle East and Children’s Film Society. A champion speaker, mentor and motivator, Jamsheed engage his audience in retrospection and self-improvement.
