She is responsible for Procurement Operations globally in Unilever’s Procurement organization . The team focuses on supply strategies for all 8 clusters, ensuring service and quality of incoming materials and partnering cluster stakeholders in all procurement related actvivities. Prior to this role, she was responsible for Packaging Procurement globally and prior to that Indirects Procurement. Indirects Procurement includes buying activities for commodities like IT, HR, Professional Services, Marketing, Logistics and Capital equipment. UNILEVER CAREER: She joined Unilever in October 2009 in Schaffhausen, Switzerland as VP, Indirects Procurement, and I relocated to Singapore in June 2010. She moved to her current role in January of 2014, now based in Dubai. PRIOR CAREER: Prior to Unilever she worked at Nokia and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), therefore her background is in telecommunications and consumer electronics business. She has held various positions in both direct materials and indirect Procurement in Europe and America. She has also spent some time at Nokia in Product Marketing. She joined Nokia in 1994 in Finland, worked in USA for 5 years and left the company in 2006. Her last role at Nokia was Director, Indirect Sourcing EMEA. She joined AMD in Austin, TX USA, in 2006 as Director of Business Services Sourcing and left in 2009.
