Marina Veldanova has been the head of Ipsen Pharma in Russia since 2009. In October 2014, she was appointed to the position of Senior Vice President for Russia and CIS. Marina is a medical doctor specialized in pediatric endocrinology with a post-doctoral degree in medicine. She has earned additional higher education in marketing, completing training at the INSEAD business school in France. Marina was awarded with the prize ‘Platinum Ounce’ in the category ‘Top manager 2007’. Marina started her career as a doctor (endocrinologist) at the Moscow endocrinological dispensary, then in 1993 she moved to Boehringer Ingelheim to be a medical representative and she went on to work in this company as a product manager. In 1998, she graduated to Berlin Chemie and from 2000 was appointed to Marketing and Medical Issues Director. In 2006, she became Director of Polpharma in Russia, and after its merger with the Akrikhin national factory, she served as Vice President in Marketing and Sales. Marina Veldanova is the author of more than 65 published articles and monographs dedicated to the most important problems of modern pediatrics and endocrinology. She is also an active speaker at pharmaceutical congresses.
