Mike Lynn currently serves as the lead divisional IP counsel for Endoscopy at Boston Scientific.  His practice includes patent portfolio management and strategic counseling, licensing, product clearance, prosecution, deal diligence/negotiation, and litigation for the third largest division at Boston Scientific, representing over $1.3B in annual global revenue.  Mike heads a team of professionals to help accomplish the business’ IP objectives in a cost-efficient and timely manner.  At Boston Scientific, Mike is a member of the divisional project investment, patent review, and management boards, and is responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow and enforce worldwide IP portfolios.  Mike has overseen all IP aspects of numerous acquisitions, investments, and divestitures to a combined value in excess of $1.8B, and manages offensive and defensive IP litigation and EU opposition proceedings. Mike began his legal career as a litigation and trial associate with Fish & Richardson in Boston.  Before practicing law, Mike was an Electronics and Software Engineer at BAE Systems in Nashua, NH, working on various projects for the Department of Defense. Mike earned his J.D. at The George Washington Law School, and has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University.  He is a registered patent attorney and admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
