Nancy is an experienced professional in the mining and academic sectors. She worked for over fifteen years in the mining sector as innovation projects leader, and then for two years at the National Insti- tute of Industrial Property as Deputy Director of the Knowledge Transfer Department, where she was in charge of promoting the knowledge of intellectual property and its role in technology transfer. As Executive Director of the Technology Development Office at Universidad del Desarrollo (UDD) she had a key role in the creation of the university’s technology transfer capacity. She has an extensive background in intellectual asset management, licensing, and technologies commercialization. Addi-tionally, she is a well-known speaker on topics like technology innovation management, intellectual property and tech transfer. In addition, Nancy has extensive experience as consultant in business development and technological change for large, medium and small companies. Nancy is an Engineer in Computer Science and Mas-ter in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (Chile).
