After graduating from the Moscow State University of Fine Chemical Technologies in 1986, Olga Maklakova worked for 16 years in different departments of Akrikhin, JSC: R&D, marketing, quality control and quality assurance. She was the first head of the quality assurance department in the company. Later on, from 2002, she worked for 10 years at GEDEON RICHTER-RUS, CJSC, firstly as head of the quality control department, and from 2004 as quality director, performing the duties of senior qualified person at the same time. In 2004, the plant successfully passed the international audit and was certified according to European GMP. In 2012-2015, she held the post of quality director/qualified person of the new “Takeda” plant in Yaroslavl, a green field project. The plant shortly got the license for manufacturing and the Russian GMP certificate, being one of the first plants in the pharmaceutical sphere to do so. Since 2015, she has been working as quality director for Akrikhin, JSC.
