Pavel holds a Degree in Chemistry (Chemical faculty of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, 1987 as well as a Ph.D. degree in chemistry. From 1987 to 1992, he conducted trials in organic chemistry at the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the USSR Academy of Sciences, Institute of Applied Biochemistry of the USSR Academy of Sciences – organic synthesis, components of nucleic acids. From 1992 to 2006, he worked for the Kursk medicines plant (later renamed as Pharmstandart-Lersredstva) in new FPP, substance synthesis technology, control methodologies development, quality assurance and control and GMP standards implementation (quality director). For that period of time, the plant mastered new FPP forms, new substances production and created new production capacities according to GMP standards. The plant was one of the first in the Russian Federation to pass the inspection according to EU GMP. From 2006 to 2015, he worked at the headquarters of Pharmstandart LLC. He was responsible for new GMP standards implementation and, later on, new medicines development and assimilation (deputy general manager in new medicines development). Since 2015, he has been working as a vice president of manufacturing and quality operations for Petrovax Pharm LLC. He is responsible for the full circle of production organization, quality assurance and control, new drugs production mastering, change management and implementing partners’ production projects.
