I was graduated as Medical Technologist from “University of Science and Technology” in Jordan. I had a Master degree of Science in Health Administration, from the “University of Alabama At Birmingham” (UAB). I started my career as Medical Technology at “Security forces Hospital” - Riyadh from (1992- 1994), then joined King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center- Riyadh from (1996-2002). I was first appointed as deputy laboratory manager at “National Guard Hospital – Dammam” from (2002- 2005), then joined “Saad Specialist Hospital” from (2005-2008) as a deputy laboratory manager assisting the laboratory manager in operating the department and in charge for the Quality and the Point of Care Services at SSH. By January 2009 I joined “King Fahad Specialist Hospital-Dammam” as Technical Manager of Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and Deputy Director of Clinical Services. I had more than 23 years of experience as Medical Technologist and with specialized knowledge on professional training in Quality Management Programs, CAP and LMIP, Australian, Canadian and JCIA Accreditation. Member of College of American Pathologists for medical laboratory accreditation in the Middle east, since 1998. My long years of experienced gave me a wide-range of knowledge scientifically and technically in Clinical laboratory work. I am capable of having high quality management qualifications. I am a member at the College of American pathologists (CAP, and was recognized by the college for demonstrating knowledge of CAP process, inspection techniques, and commitments to helping laboratories improve patient care. I had conducted lectures/workshops on Update in Laboratory Quality & Accreditation Course, which covers the importance of Q-TRACKS in order to have an accurate tracking system performance in laboratory. I had organized, plan and implement all technical and administrative activities required by Saudi Arabia Ministry of Health, JCI, CAP and AABB standards for laboratories. I am an active member of College of American Pathologist for Medical Laboratory Accreditation in the Middle East. Currently I am holding a position of Head of Patient Experience Unit, under the Innovation & Corporate Integration Administration (ICIA), improving the patient experience and help get patients more engaged in their care—both of which can improve outcomes and operational inefficiencies. By making it easier to care for and educate-patients, interactive patient care solutions can increase the satisfaction of physicians and nurses.
