Dr. Saroj Panda is working as a scientist in Research & Development Center, Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia. His current role involves the characterization of fossil fuels and analysis of fuel additives and oilfield chemicals to support downstream and upstream activities. He has published 15 peer-reviewed publications and presented more than 25 technical presentations at international conferences on comprehensive characterization of crude oil and refined products using innovative analytical methods. He holds a Ph.D. degree in the characterization of fossil fuels from the University of Muenster, Germany. He has also a Master degrees from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in analytical chemistry. Before joining Saudi Aramco in 2009, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Max-Planck Institute of Coal research, Muelheim, Germany. During his Ph.D. and post-doc tenure, he was working on various petroleum characterization related research projects in collaboration with Shell Global Solutions, Syncrude, IFP and Saudi Aramco.
