He graduated from Bauman Moscow State University in 1984 and from the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation with a degree in Finances and Credit in 2001. He received a diploma from Open University of Great Britain in 2008 and his MBA degree in 2009. Ulan Ilishkin started his career in banking in August 1997. He started from the post of Head of the Foreign Trade Activities Provision Department, dealing with JSCB ONEXIM Bank’s corporate client management. From December 1998, he worked at Rosbank in the corporate block. In 2000, Ulan Ilishkin took the lead of the corporate client management department and later on was appointed to the post of Client Relations Department Director at Rosbank. From May 2004, he was Head of the Regional Network Department at Rosbank. He took the lead of the administrative department in 2006 and in September 2008, he became Director of the Department of Organizational Development and Personnel. In February 2010, he was appointed to the post of Deputy Chairman of the Board at Rosbank. At present, he is monitoring corporate communications, client service quality control and improvement, working with wealthy clients and asset management.
