Vincenzo Reina is the Country Head of Strategy & Smart Insurance Transformation of Generali Deutschland AG. He is in charge of the company’s customer orientation ensuring simpler and smarter products as well as improved processes by means of new technologies and progressive digitization. Prior to that, Vincenzo Reina has been holding various positions for the Generali Group for more than 20 years: From 1993 until 2001 he worked for German companies of the Generali Group such as Generali Lloyd and Generali Lloyd Thuringia Verwaltungsservice and held various functions in the areas of sales network, communication and change management. From 2001 until 2008 Reina firstly became Head of Marketing & Communication and then Head of Product & Services of Genertel, the leading direct insurer in Italy. Under his direction the first telematics product ‘Pay how you drive’ successfully entered the Italian market. In 2012, he joined the Group Head Office as Direct Channel & Customer Value and was finally appointed as Head of Global Sales and Head of P&C Retail Product Strategy.
