Steven De Regter

Steven De Regter is Head of Corporate EHS Reporting & Data Management at BASF, the largest chemical producer in the world with more than 500 sites over 90 countries with size ranging from 35.000 employees to small seed farms. He is member to the Responsible Care® Leadership Group in the International Council of Chemical Associations, candidate-Chair of the Responsible Care® Coordination Group at VCI (the German Chemical Producers Association). Through his activities both in advocacy and data management he is the main contact in BASF when it come to EHS data points as part of ESG declaration, reporting to Rating Agencies and regulatory bodies across the world. His team within BASF is responsible for the collection of more than 7000 data point ranging from typical EHS indicators like emissions and incident, over related aspects in EU taxonomy or regarding Bio-Diversity, to HR related topics developed over the last 6 years dealing with all aspects of reporting and assurance.
