Fiscal Metering & Custody Transfer

This three-day course provides an overview of the key aspects of a metering station designed for fiscal metering or custody transfer. Based on a typical sales agreement/contract the impact of several clauses will be examined. Starting with the measurement itself, determination of the uncertainty of the final result, the standards used in the design of the metering system. Aspects such as operating window and availability will be explained. But also, the contractual requirements with regards to auditing and the verification of the required traceability. The course includes static (tank) measurements and liquid proving facilities.
