Jörn Wächtler

Director Workplace Experience, Design & Concepts
Adidas, Germany
With a background in architecture and more than 20 years of experience, Joern has been deeply involved in shaping work environments – long before he joined adidas, where he now leads the global Workplace Design team. Together with his team, he develops and realizes workplace concepts that support people, purpose, and performance worldwide. His work is guided by curiosity, clarity, and the conviction that meaningful spaces are the result of collaboration, not control. He sees workplace design as a continuous dialogue – shaped by evolving ways of working, changing organizational cultures, and shared learning. As both driver and recipient of this transformation, he believes in multidisciplinary thinking and in listening before acting. Great workplaces don’t follow egos and are never static – they follow needs, and they grow with us.
