After completing the master’s degree in “Biotechnical Processes” at the University of Applied Science Wr. Neustadt/Tulln, Thomas started his career at VelaLabs in the R&D department. In the role of a senior technician, he was responsible for the development of analytical methods for large molecules as well as quality processes. From 2016 to 2023 he was head of the cell-based assays department. In his current position Thomas is responsible for technical as well as quality topics. He has more than 15 years of experience in developing, qualifying and validating cell-based potency assays for biologics.
