Chris is the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Regional Leader for Boeing Europe. This includes responsibility for EHS compliance activities and developing a âGo for Zeroâ culture across Boeingâs commercial aviation, defence, space and security, and global services businesses in the region. He has led the certification of 17 UK locations to ISO14001 and ISO45001, supported by a highly performing team of 6 EHS Specialists
Chris has been with Boeing for 5 years. Prior to his current role, Chris has 13 years of highly industrious experience in EHS management (Pharmaceutical research and manufacturing, and consultancy), following a PhD in Chemistry at Oxford University and a short career as a research chemist.
Chris is Vice Chair of the UK Aviation, Defence & Space (ADS) Hazardous Materials Group and a past committee member of the UKâs Institute of Occupational Safety & Health Aviation Group.
Outside of EHS, Chris enjoys spending time with his 12 year old twin boys and 8 year old daughter. If that wasnât enough, he is a Level 2 UK Athletics and Triathlon coach, and competes in triathlons up to Ironman. In 2015 Chris represented Great Britain (Age group) at the World Triathlon Championships in Chicago.
