Course description
In the current regulatory and economic environment, managing oil & gas well abandonment project costs and execution is increasingly important. Minimizing costs, without sacrificing well integrity, is critical to operators, who make a significant investment with no financial return in the case of P&A (Plug and Abandonment) operations.
This course highlights the importance of a structured, multi-disciplinary approach to ensure optimal cost control in P&A operations. It covers the different cost estimation techniques and provides the participants with the ability to improve the quality of provisioning with the aim of managing financial planning and reducing the possibility of cost overruns.
