The team I currently lead is composed by to desks: Collateral Management Banking and Collateral Management Trading. We perform in several SFT markets (cleared and bilateral) and we decide the use of collateral, in particular securities, for all the needs of the Bank.
Now I’m also responsible for the ECMS project together with other departments involved (IT, back office, organization…).
Before the merge between Banco Popolare and Banca Popolare di Milano in 2017, I held the position of Head of Collateral Management also in BPM Group. I’ve developed the implementation of EMIR regulation since 2012 focusing on Clearing Obligation and I was responsible for the Operational Task Force of this project. I was also liable, in conjunction with the Legal Department, for the negotiation of ISDA, ICMA and ISLA master agreements with the main Counterparties. Previously, I worked in Proprietary Trading Desk as trader of Government Bonds and in the Treasury Department.
I head a degree in Economics from Università degli Studi di Pavia (Italy).
