Christa Spitznagel graduated from the ETH, Zurich in 2001 as a pharmacist and obtained her eMBA degree from the University of Zurich in 2018. She had a 6 years position in Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Medical Information and Health Care Compliance in different Swiss-based pharmaceutical companies followed by 6 years of head of Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Healthcare Compliance and legal advice, responsible for Switzerland and Austria at Allergan. Since August 2019 she is Head Quality Assurance incl. FvP, Market Access, Compliance and Regulatory Affairs at Leo Pharma. From March 2021 until March 2022 she also acted as General Manager ad interim for Leo Pharma Switzerland. Currently she is Quality Head DACH and Head Market Access for Switzerland.
She is member of the Managing Board of MEGRA as well as member of Regulatory Affairs, GDP (FvP) & Pharmacovigilance and Market Access working groups. She is part of the SHQA examination committee and is also a speaker in the Compliance an promotional material and activity Module organized by SHQA.
