David is the founder and director of PharmaDelivery Solutions Ltd, a successful small specialist consultancy in the field of Drug Delivery Technology. The company started in 2003 and now has a client base covering the world. PharmaDelivery Solutions Ltd was set up to fill a gap in the market supplying resource and inspiration, to help groups through the trials and tribulations of developing device-based drug delivery systems. More recently PharmaDelivery Solutions Ltd has established systems, with documentation and provided pivotal input and guidance on a number of drug/ biologic/ device combination products resulting in positive Notified Body opinions and/or regulatory approvals.
Prior to founding PharmaDelivery Solutions Ltd he spent over 20 years with Bespak in a range of roles both technical and commercial and was responsible for many of the programmes associated with successful inhalation systems currently on the market. Over the years has presented and taught at many meetings in various areas associated with Inhalation device development and technology. During that time he Was the official BSI/ UK representative on ISO TC 84/ WG 5 which developed ISO 20072 “Aerosol drug delivery device design verification – Requirements and test methods”.
