Eric Beyssac received the Master in Pharmacy and the Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Technology, from the Faculty of Pharmacy in Clermont-Ferrand (France). He is Professor in Biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical technology at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Clermont-Ferrand (France). He was an invited Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Université Laval in Québec. He is currently in the research group MEDIS (Microbiology Drug Digestive Environment and Health) and in charge of the in vitro study platform. His research interests include the following: In vitro in vivo correlations, sustained release drug dosage form development, and in vitro dissolution. He has extensive academic and industrial expertise in the use of dissolution materials especially for specific dosage forms. He has authored more than 40 scientific papers, among them numerous concerning dissolution and IVIVC, conducts various training seminars and workshops.
