Howard Boder is the Director of NewLand Control UK; a consulting company based in the UK and Netherlands, specialising in Advanced Control. He is a Chemical Engineer who studied at London University and is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers and also an Associate Scientist.
Howard has 39 years’ industrial experience in Advanced Control (APC) across a wide range of industries including Refining, Oil and gas, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Polymers, Mining, Metals, Metallurgy, Automative and the Food industry.
Howard has previously worked for Exxon-Mobil, KBC, and Honeywell where he was the European Training Manager and later the global APC Technology Leader. He has decades of success in deploying APC and optimisation including many world firsts and patents to his name.
Howard has delivered numerous APC training courses both on site and public courses.
Howard has also been a guest lecturer on the IchemE approved MSc Process Automation course at Sheffield and Newcastle Universities and also presented at UCL, London.
He has experience worldwide having worked overseas for many projects and assignments including many European countries, America and Australia.
